  • India’s moon mission Chandrayaan 2 lifted off from its launch pad at Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota at 2:43 pm today, 2019 Jul 22 on GSLV-Mark-Three rocket. Chandrayaan-2 will be navigated by the ISRO scientists to near the South Pole of the moon. India would become the fourth ever nation to have a soft-landing on the moon, once Chandrayaan-2 reaches the unexplored area.
  • Teen Talaq Bill passed from the Rajya Sabha on July 30, 2019. This bill was introduced by Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. This Bill has been passed from the Lok Sabha on July 26, 2019.
