The Central Executive Committee of the Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA) met on September 29, 2026, under the chairmanship of Mrs Laila Swaminathan, President, NWWA, to review priorities and strengthen ongoing welfare initiatives for the naval community.
The meeting brought together regional leadership from across the association’s structure, providing a forum to align efforts, exchange perspectives and sharpen the focus of NWWA’s work. According to the association, the engagement was intended to deepen NWWA’s impact across the naval community by bringing together leadership voices from the regions and enabling a collective review of its work. The committee’s discussions were aimed at shaping future priorities and strengthening the association’s initiatives in a more coordinated manner.
The meeting also reflected NWWA’s broader effort to connect its regional presence with the needs of the wider naval community. By drawing in regional leadership, the organisation sought to ensure that its programmes and initiatives were informed by perspectives from across its network.
