Lt. Gen. Anindya Sengupta Reviews Technological Advances at Infantry School Mhow
On July 2, 2026, Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, who holds the positions of PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, and YSM, and is the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, paid a visit to The Infantry School in Mhow. The purpose of his visit was to assess the institution's training programs, technological progressions, and operational preparedness.
During his time at the school, Lt Gen Sengupta received briefings on up-to-date training methodologies, initiatives for technology absorption, and key administrative factors designed to equip soldiers for the evolving nature of modern warfare.

The Army Commander also toured the training areas of the school, evaluating the modern infrastructure and the advanced drone training facilities implemented to boost the combat capabilities of future infantry leaders.

In his address to the faculty and staff, Lt Gen Sengupta praised their steadfast dedication, professionalism, and commitment to fostering an infantry force prepared to tackle the challenges posed by the modern battlefield.
