Yodha Rakshak Combat Casualty Care Training Successfully Concludes at AMC Centre Lucknow
The first-ever Yodha Rakshak Combat Casualty Care (YRCCC) training program, held over five days at the Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College (AMC C&C) in Lucknow, concluded on March 13, 2026.
This specialized course included 30 officers from various Arms and Services of the Indian Army, aiming to improve their proficiency in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).

The training focused on equipping officers with the skills needed for combat casualty management. This enables them to provide immediate medical assistance during operations, crucial for maintaining combat effectiveness.
Participants were trained to respond swiftly to battlefield injuries, manage trauma care, and perform emergency stabilizations, all essential to save lives in combat scenarios.

During the closing ceremony, Lieutenant General Shivinder Singh, Commandant of AMC Centre & College, emphasized the significance of combat casualty care in minimizing battlefield deaths and sustaining operational capabilities.
He urged the officers to utilize the skills acquired from the course to boost survival rates and enhance medical readiness in military operations.
The YRCCC training capsule exemplifies the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to equipping its officers with advanced life-saving techniques and improving medical response strategies in combat situations.
