Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Assesses Security and Combat Readiness in Nowshera Sector

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, adorned with the AVSM, YSM, and SM honors, recently visited forward areas in the Nowshera Sector. Accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of the Ace of Spades Division, his visit aimed to evaluate the security conditions and assess the combat capabilities of troops stationed along the Line of Control (LoC).

During this visit, Lt Gen Mishra received detailed briefings on the operational situation, force positioning, surveillance strategies, and initiatives underway to enhance operational capabilities. The focal point of the review was to ensure high combat readiness and the effectiveness of security protocols along the sensitive border area.

The Corps Commander evaluated the troops' preparedness and examined the integration of surveillance and monitoring systems designed to uphold situational awareness and operational superiority in the region.

Lt Gen Mishra also interacted with soldiers at forward posts, commending their professionalism, dedication, and steadfast commitment to their duties. He praised the troops for maintaining high morale, vigilance, and their tireless efforts in defending the nation's borders under challenging conditions.

Highlighting the necessity for constant readiness and adaptability, the Corps Commander urged all ranks to uphold the highest operational standards while being prepared for any emerging security challenges.
