UPSC Declares NDA 2 2026 Results, 7,886 Candidates Qualify for SSB Interview

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the NDA 2 2026 written examination results on October 9, 2026, shortlisting 7,886 candidates for the next stage of the National Defence Academy selection process. Of those who cleared the exam, 7,406 are boys and 480 are girls. Candidates can check their roll numbers in the result PDF attached by the commission.

The written test for NDA 2 2026 was conducted on September 13, 2026. Those who have qualified will now move on to the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which is the next phase of the selection process for entry into the Indian Armed Forces through the NDA route.

How to check the NDA 2 2026 result

Candidates looking for their results can visit the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in, and open the “NDA 2 Result 2026” link under the “What’s New” section. The commission has uploaded the result in PDF format, listing the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Applicants can use Ctrl+F to search for their roll number in the document and should download and save the file for future reference.

What qualified candidates must do next

Candidates who have cleared the written examination must register online on the Indian Army recruitment website, joinindianarmy.nic.in, within two weeks of the result announcement. This registration is required so that candidates can receive information about their Selection Centre and the SSB interview date through their registered email ID.

The UPSC has also reminded successful candidates to carry their original certificates related to age and educational qualifications to the SSB interview. These documents are not to be sent to UPSC; instead, they must be shown directly at the respective SSB centres.

Those who have already registered on the website earlier do not need to register again. For login or registration-related issues, candidates may contact the Indian Army at dir-recruiting6-mod@nic.in.

For clarifications, candidates can approach the UPSC Facilitation Counter near Gate ‘C’ of the UPSC office, which remains open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on working days. The commission has also provided contact numbers for assistance related to different services and the selection process.

The NDA 2 2026 examination is one of the key entry points for candidates aiming to join the Indian Armed Forces through the National Defence Academy. With the written results now out, shortlisted candidates will move into the interview phase that determines the next stage of selection.
