UPSC Announces CAPF 2025 Final Results: 350 Candidates Selected for Assistant Commandant Posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the results for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandant examination, which took place on August 3, 2025. This announcement is a crucial step for candidates who have invested significant effort into preparing for this chance to join respected paramilitary forces such as the CRPF, BSF, CISF, SSB, and ITBP. Based on the examination conducted in August and subsequent interviews held from May 4 to May 29, 2025, a total of 350 candidates have been recommended for appointment.

The successful candidates will take up Group A positions across five Central Armed Police Forces: the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

On the homepage, under the 'What's New' section, the link to the final results for the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2025, can be found. By clicking on the PDF link, candidates can view the results. To quickly locate their roll number, candidates can use the 'Ctrl + F' function. It is advisable to download and save the results for future reference.

The appointment of some candidates remains contingent upon the resolution of ongoing court cases. Additionally, the result for one candidate has been withheld due to court orders.

A total of 126 candidates have been provisionally selected, pending the verification of documents and eligibility. The UPSC has also established a reserve list featuring 164 candidates who ranked just below the last recommended candidate in various categories.
