ULFA(I) Alleges Indian Army Drone Strikes on Myanmar Border Camps; Army Denies Involvement

The Hindu reported that the banned ULFA(I) announced on Sunday, July 13, 2025, that its camps near the Myanmar border were targeted by drone strikes allegedly conducted by the Indian Army. However, sources from the Army denied any such operations took place.
According to a press statement from ULFA(I), the assaults occurred in the early morning hours and involved drones attacking several of their mobile camps.
The group claimed that the drone strikes resulted in the death of a senior leader and injuries to approximately 19 others.
Meanwhile, Army sources refuted these claims, with information provided to The Hindu indicating that no such military operation was carried out by Indian forces.
