Tri-Services Maintenance Coordination Enhanced at PMOC Gathering in Karwar
The Principal Maintenance Officers’ Committee (PMOC) convened at the Karwar Naval Base, organized by the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS).

During this session, significant resolutions were made to advance the maintenance, repair, and sustenance frameworks of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The aim is to enhance synergy and coordination among the three branches of the military.

Since its inception in 2021, the PMOC has shown consistent progress in fostering integration and enhancing joint capabilities. It has also played a role in supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative within the defense sector.

The discussions concentrated on improving logistical efficiency, refining maintenance practices, and devising long-term sustainment strategies. This ensures that the three services maintain operational readiness and technological resilience.
The meeting emphasizes India's ongoing efforts to achieve jointness, integration, and self-reliant defense capabilities.
