Tri-Service Ceremonies Mark Vijay Diwas 2025 in Southern Command
The Southern Command's Dakshin Bharat Area marked Vijay Diwas 2025 with a respectful military tribute, honoring the heroes of the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War and celebrating India's significant victory.
Wreath-laying ceremonies took place at Veeragallu, the National Military Memorial in Bengaluru, and the War Memorial in Chennai, demonstrating the coordinated efforts of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
These events were attended by active service members, veterans from all branches, Veer Naris, Veer Matas & Pitas, schoolchildren, and NCC cadets. The participation emphasized strong military and civilian interaction, imparting the timeless values of courage, duty, and sacrifice to the younger audience.
