Surgical Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, the Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), paid a visit to Karwar, where she met with Rear Admiral Ravnish Seth, Admiral Superintendent. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the medical infrastructure and healthcare services available to naval personnel and their families in the area.

During her time in Karwar, Vice Admiral Sarin conducted a thorough assessment of several facilities, including the Dockyard Dispensary, INS Kadamba MI Room, and the Submarine Medical Centre.
