Subedar Sandeep Kumar Dhaka's Heroic Sacrifice in Operation Sheri Kalan, Poonch Sector
Subedar Sandeep Kumar Dhaka of the Indian Army tragically lost his life while serving during Operation Sheri Kalan in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
According to official reports, the Junior Commissioned Officer was engaged in extended operations in the challenging and rugged landscape of Poonch when the incident took place at approximately 2:30 pm. While on duty, he slipped and fell, becoming unresponsive shortly thereafter.
Evacuated to Military Hospital
Immediate efforts were made to evacuate Subedar Dhaka to the Military Hospital in Potha, where medical staff made every effort to save him. Despite receiving the highest level of medical attention, the courageous soldier unfortunately passed away in the line of duty.
White Knight Corps Pays Tribute
The White Knight Corps of the Indian Army paid their respects to the valiant JCO, acknowledging his unwavering bravery, dedication, and selfless service to the country.
In a statement, the formation conveyed heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, affirming that the Army stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time.
