Southern Command's Exercise AgniDrishti Highlights Advanced Multi-Domain Warfare Strategies

In a demonstration of advanced military capabilities, the Agnibaaz Division of the Indian Army’s Southern Command successfully executed Exercise AgniDrishti. This event is part of the ongoing Tri-Services Exercise and highlighted the integration of land, air, space, and unmanned ISR assets within a network-centric sensor-to-shooter framework.

The exercise showcased a decision support system that effectively combines drones, counter-unmanned aerial systems, electronic warfare tools, and enhanced airspace awareness. By utilizing satellite data, artificial intelligence, and sensor fusion, the system provides real-time intelligence across multiple domains.

Significant operational achievements included continuous RPA surveillance missions, counter-battery targeting enabled by weapon-locating radar, and the deployment of deep insertion special forces detachments. These elements contributed to heightened operational tempo and situational control within the theatre.

He highlighted the formation’s capacity to attain information superiority and kinetic dominance in modern high-intensity operations.

Exercise AgniDrishti underscored the Indian Army’s advancing expertise in multi-domain operations. It emphasized the collaboration between traditional forces and cutting-edge technological assets, reaffirming the army’s readiness to operate effectively in future battlespaces marked by swift information exchange and high-intensity engagements.
