Seven Officers Commissioned into Indian Navy's Naval Construction Wing at Passing Out Parade
The Indian Navy marked a significant achievement in its technical and design cadre with the successful completion of Naval Architecture Course 36. This milestone saw seven officers being inducted into the esteemed Naval Construction Wing.
Rear Admiral Deepak Singhal, Chief Staff Officer (Training) of the Southern Naval Command, reviewed the Passing Out Parade and congratulated the officers for completing their rigorous academic and military training.

At the ceremony, Sub Lieutenant SC Aryan Raj received the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Naval Command Gold Medal for achieving the top position in the overall order of merit. Sub Lieutenant Deepanshu was awarded the Silver Medal for securing second place.
The officers underwent four years of intensive naval training, which included specialized academic instruction in naval architecture and warship design, equipping them for pivotal roles in shaping and maintaining the Indian Navy's future assets.

These newly commissioned officers in the Naval Construction Wing are set to play a vital role in designing, constructing, and modernizing indigenous warships, submarines, and other naval platforms, thereby enhancing India's maritime capabilities.
The induction of these officers comes as the Indian Navy is actively engaged in several indigenous shipbuilding and submarine projects. These efforts align with the government's Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, which aims to boost self-reliance in defense manufacturing.
The Passing Out Parade underscored the Indian Navy's ongoing dedication to nurturing highly skilled technical officers who can drive innovation and support the expanding indigenous naval construction ecosystem.
Now commissioned, the seven young Naval Constructors are poised to contribute to the development of new Indian naval platforms, furthering the nation's pursuit of technological self-reliance and maritime prowess.
