Sainik School Ghorakhal 44 Cadets Clear UPSC NDA Written Exam
Sainik School Ghorakhal has reported a notable result in the Union Public Service Commission’s National Defence Academy examination, with 44 cadets clearing the written test and strengthening the institution’s reputation for preparing students for careers in the Armed Forces.
Among the successful cadets, 30 are from the school’s current Class XII batch for the 2026–2027 academic session, while 14 belong to the March 2026 batch. The result reflects the performance of cadets across both groups and their preparation for one of the country’s key entry examinations for the National Defence Academy.
The school attributed the achievement to the cadets’ hard work, the guidance of teachers and its emphasis on discipline and quality education. Sainik Schools are known for combining academics with a structured environment aimed at grooming students for military service, and the Ghorakhal institution said its approach is designed to support those who aspire to join the Indian Armed Forces as officers.
Principal Group Captain Madhu Senger and the entire staff of Sainik School Ghorakhal congratulated the successful cadets and extended their best wishes for the next stages of the selection process for entry into the National Defence Academy.
The school said the outcome has brought recognition to the institution and is expected to encourage other students pursuing careers in the Armed Forces. With 44 cadets qualifying in the NDA written examination, Sainik School Ghorakhal said it remains committed to nurturing future defence officers through education, discipline and sustained preparation.
