RMS Dholpur Cadets Achieve Success at Rajasthan Pre-State Shooting Championship, 16 Advance to Next Level
Dholpur, April 2026: Rashtriya Military School Dholpur's cadets have achieved remarkable success at the Rajasthan Pre-State Shooting Championship, with 16 students advancing to the next level of the competition. The event took place in Jaipur from April 18 to 22, 2026, and included participants in the Sub Junior (U-14) and Junior (U-18) categories.
The 16 qualifiers include four girl cadets, underscoring the increasing involvement and success of female students in competitive shooting at the school. This accomplishment follows the school's earlier achievements this year. In January 2026, 10 cadets, three of whom were girls, qualified for a national-level competition. Notably, one female cadet was selected for the India Team Trials in the 10m Air Rifle category.

The sustained achievements of RMS Dholpur cadets highlight the institution's commitment to sports and co-curricular activities. The school offers comprehensive training facilities and encourages students to engage in diverse activities to promote their holistic development.
Principal Lt Col (Dr) Amit Sharma, VSM, applauded the cadets for their exceptional performance and praised the dedication of the coaching staff. He remarked that such achievements not only bring recognition to the school but also inspire other students to participate in sports.

RMS Dholpur remains committed to developing well-rounded individuals by providing opportunities in sports, adventure, and vocational training alongside academic pursuits. The recent success at the state-level championship further cements its status as a leading institution in cultivating future leaders.
