Raj Kumar Arora Takes Office as Financial Advisor to Defence Services
Shri Raj Kumar Arora, a distinguished member of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) class of 1990, has officially taken on the role of Financial Advisor (Defence Services). Arora brings extensive expertise in areas such as financial management, defence acquisitions, and policy development.
Throughout his tenure, Shri Arora has held several prominent positions within the government, most notably as the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) and as an Additional Secretary at the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
His impressive career has seen him deeply involved in various critical aspects like acquisition planning, financial policy, accounting, auditing, budgeting, and personnel management. His contributions have played a pivotal role in strengthening the financial framework of India's defence sector.
