Panther Division Clinches Overall Victory at Western Command Skill at Arms Competition

The Panther Division showcased remarkable shooting capabilities and battlefield expertise to secure the title of Overall Champion at the Western Command 'Inter-Division Skill at Arms Competition', held from March 2 to March 6, 2026.

With impressive precision and marksmanship, the division claimed the Best Firer titles in both Rapid and Slow firing categories, underlining its exceptional weapon-handling skills and rigorous training standards.

The Tiger Division also delivered a commendable performance, securing the runner-up position and closely contending for the top spot.

At the prize distribution ceremony, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Vajra Corps extended his congratulations to all participating formations. He stressed the need for the effective integration of new-generation weapon systems and advanced technologies with modern tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

The GOC further emphasized that bold leadership, extensive training, and technological integration are crucial elements for success in contemporary warfare.

The competition provided an opportunity to enhance combat skills, precision firing, and operational readiness, reinforcing the Indian Army's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and battlefield preparedness.
