Nk Bharat Singh Honored as Best Student at NCO Academy Dhana's Combat Leadership Course Conclusion

The Combat Leadership Course at the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy in Dhana concluded on March 28, 2026, successfully completing an intensive program designed to boost the leadership and operational skills of Junior Leaders in the Indian Army.

The course brought together Non-Commissioned Officers from various regiments, subjecting them to a challenging and specialized training curriculum. This training aimed to prepare them for the complexities of modern warfare, focusing on enhancing combat leadership skills, decision-making under pressure, and adaptability in an environment increasingly driven by technology.

Participants were introduced to modern operational concepts, including advanced technology integration, situational awareness tools, and contemporary combat tactics. The curriculum placed a strong emphasis on physical endurance and mental resilience, ensuring that NCOs are well-prepared to lead troops in high-pressure combat situations effectively.

The closing ceremony was led by Brigadier Lalit Sharma, Shaurya Chakra, Sena Medal, Commandant of the NCO Academy. During his speech, he provided insights into the Indian Army's "Decade of Transformation," focusing on advancements in training, technology, and operational readiness. He also addressed the changing geopolitical environment and the necessity for leaders to remain adaptable, knowledgeable, and focused on their missions.

Among the notable achievers, Naik Bharat Singh from the Rajput Regiment received the Army Commander ARTRAC Trophy for being the Best Student overall. His performance throughout the course demonstrated outstanding leadership capabilities, tactical knowledge, and consistent excellence.

Additionally, the first-ever Best Techno Warrior Trophy was awarded to Naik Narinder Singh of the Regiment of Artillery. This award acknowledges exceptional skills in utilizing technology and modern systems in combat, highlighting the Army's growing focus on digitization and future-ready warfare.

The course's successful completion underscored the vital role of Non-Commissioned Officers as the backbone of the Army, linking officers and troops. The training not only enhanced individual skills but also boosted unit cohesion and operational effectiveness.
