The National Defence Academy (NDA) is preparing for its prestigious Passing Out Parade for the 149th Course, scheduled for November 30, 2025. This significant military event will be broadcast live on YouTube, starting at 06:30 AM, allowing viewers from India and abroad to witness the occasion. The parade represents the completion of the cadets' rigorous training across various disciplines.
The ceremony takes place at the historic Khetrapal Parade Ground, named in honor of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, PVC. This event signifies the end of the cadets' comprehensive training at the NDA, which includes academic, physical, leadership, and service-specific development. Following this, the cadets will continue their journey at pre-commission training academies such as the Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, and Indian Naval Academy.
A Tribute to Discipline and Jointmanship
The Passing Out Parade is renowned for its flawless drill performances and synchronized marches, culminating in the poignant "Antim Pag" moment, when cadets march out of the Academy for the last time, transitioning into officers of the Indian Armed Forces.
The 149th Course upholds the NDA's dedication to developing military leaders of high caliber, exemplifying discipline, honor, integrity, and collaboration across services.
Families and Citizens to Join Virtually
To enable broader participation, especially for those unable to attend in person, the NDA will broadcast the entire parade live on YouTube starting at 06:30 AM on November 30, 2025. This initiative allows millions to watch as the nation’s finest youth embark on their formal journey to serve the country.
