Military Hospital Jabalpur Launches Advanced Blood Component Facility
The Military Hospital in Jabalpur has marked a notable advancement in healthcare with the official launch of its Blood Component Licence facility, aimed at boosting transfusion care and ensuring patient safety.
This new licence positions the hospital among a limited number of zonal military hospitals that are equipped to handle contemporary blood component separation and offer specialised apheresis procedures.

The upgraded facility is designed to provide safe and quality-focused component therapy, maximising the use of blood donations and enhancing clinical outcomes for patients.

According to officials, the new capability will greatly enhance critical healthcare delivery for Indian Army personnel, veterans, and their families.

The initiative further underscores the Army Medical Corps' dedication to integrating modern medical practices, improving transfusion safety standards, and providing advanced healthcare services throughout military medical facilities.
