MCTE's Deputy Commandant Highlights Strategic Technology Advancements at IEEE Conference 2025

Major General Gautam Mahajan, who holds the Sena Medal and serves as the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor at the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), was the keynote speaker at the World Conference on Cutting Edge Science & Technology 2025. This event, a collaborative effort between SAGE University, Indore, and IEEE Madhya Pradesh, focused on gathering global experts to discuss disruptive technologies that are poised to shape the future.

During his speech, Maj Gen Mahajan highlighted the significant changes brought about by advances in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, 5G/6G communications, Quantum Computing, and the development of indigenous VLSI and chip design. He pointed out their strategic importance in the realms of defense, industry, and national growth, and stressed the importance of enhancing collaboration between the defense sector, academia, and industry.

Maj Gen Mahajan also reinforced the national goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047, asserting that leveraging these technologies is crucial to preparing India for the future, ensuring both its security and economic development.
