MCTE Marks 79th Raising Day with Ceremonial Splendor and Dedication

The Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) in Mhow commemorated its 79th Raising Day on 1 October 2025 with significant pride and ceremonial splendor. This occasion highlighted nearly 80 years of the institution's remarkable contribution to developing leaders in communication and information warfare for the Indian Armed Forces.
The celebrations began with a respectful wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial. Lieutenant General Vivek Dogra, Commandant of MCTE and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals, paid tribute to the fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. During the event, notable personnel and contributors from the Corps of Signals were honored for their exceptional achievements, underscoring the Corps' tradition of excellence, innovation, and commitment.
The day featured a variety of impressive displays and demonstrations that captivated those in attendance. Key highlights included an exhilarating Daredevils Motorcycle Display, an enchanting aero show by microlights and power hang gliders from the #AANC performed by The Mountain Eagle Team, and a stunning skydiving exhibition by Lieutenant Colonel Mayank Nagpal. These performances demonstrated the bravery, expertise, and accuracy of the Indian Armed Forces and were witnessed by a distinguished audience of veterans, officers, and the MCTE community.

As MCTE approaches its 80th anniversary, it remains a leading center for military communication and technology. The institution continues to play a crucial role in equipping the Indian Army to face the emerging challenges of the digital battlefield.
