Major General Vivek Tyagi Evaluates Maharashtra Directorate's RDC 2026 Preparations

Major General Vivek Tyagi, serving as the Additional Director General of the Maharashtra Directorate within the National Cadet Corps, visited the NCC Group Headquarters in Pune to evaluate the preparations for the upcoming Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026. This visit was a significant step in the Directorate’s annual efforts to prepare cadets for one of the organization's most prestigious national events.

During his visit, Major General Tyagi received a comprehensive briefing from Col Vineet Midha, the Officiating Group Commander. The briefing covered the selection criteria, phased training program, and overall strategies implemented by the Pune Group to train high-performing cadets for RDC 2026. He expressed satisfaction with the systematic and well-organized approach, commending it as a reflection of the professionalism maintained by the Maharashtra Directorate.

Major General Tyagi took the opportunity to observe various ongoing activities, including drill sessions, cultural rehearsals, and physical training routines.
