Major General MPS Gill Evaluates Geospatial Advancements at 501 Survey Engineering Group
Major General MPS Gill, who oversees the Uttarakhand Sub Area, recently inspected the 501 Field Survey Engineering Group to assess its operational capabilities and technological advancements.
During his visit, the General Officer Commanding received briefings on specialized geospatial tasks and cutting-edge survey technologies. These technologies are instrumental in enhancing battlefield transparency and situational awareness, thereby supporting the planning and execution of military operations.

Maj Gen Gill also evaluated the ongoing mapping and printing projects, which are essential for precise terrain analysis and effective operational planning.

He praised the personnel for their professionalism and technical expertise, recognizing their contributions to operational readiness and strategic decision-making through high-precision surveying.
