Major General Maneesh Kukrety Reviews Base Hospital Lucknow and Launches 'Swasthya Path: Health Trail'

Major General Maneesh Kukrety, SM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of MUPSA, made an official visit to Base Hospital Lucknow. This hospital, which functions as the Garrison Hospital of Lucknow Cantonment, also serves as a Tertiary Care Centre for Orthopaedics and Dermatology. The purpose of his visit was to assess the healthcare services and facilities provided there.

As part of his visit, Major General Kukrety inaugurated “Swasthya Path: Health Trail.” This initiative is aimed at enhancing holistic healing by combining physical activity, structured exercise, and the rejuvenating effects of nature. It intends to improve the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of patients, staff, and visitors, representing a comprehensive approach to healthcare.

The Major General expressed his appreciation for the hospital team’s dedication, under the leadership of Commandant Brigadier Jasvinder Kaur Bhatia. He acknowledged that such initiatives strengthen the hospital’s dedication to providing patient-focused and compassionate care, blending modern medical treatments with holistic wellness practices.

He further emphasized that the initiative is a true embodiment of the hospital’s motto, “Madhur Vyavhar, Kushal Upchar” (Compassionate Conduct, Skilled Treatment). The GOC commended the staff for their professionalism, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence within military healthcare.
