Major General Bharat Mehtani took command of the Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area on May 30, 2026.
With over thirty years of notable service in the Indian Army, Maj Gen Mehtani brings a wealth of operational and command expertise. His experience spans various terrains and operational theaters throughout his military service.
After assuming command, the General Officer paid tribute to soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation, reaffirming the Army’s lasting respect for its fallen heroes.
