Major General Ajay Misra Evaluates Operational Readiness at AOC Centre and Records
Major General Ajay Misra, who serves as the General Officer Commanding of the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, recently evaluated the readiness of the Army Ordnance Corps Centre & Records. His review also included the 1 EME Centre, EME Records, and EME Depot Battalion.
During this assessment, Major General Misra praised the centre for its outstanding combat readiness, advanced technical abilities, and innovative training strategies aimed at addressing the challenges of contemporary warfare. He specifically commended the initiatives to train the new recruits known as Modern Tuskers, transforming them into highly skilled and mission-ready soldiers prepared for technologically advanced and complex battlefields.

The General Officer Commanding emphasized the importance of developing training facilities, promoting indigenisation, and employing state-of-the-art instructional methods to prepare soldiers for future challenges.
He acknowledged the crucial role of the AOC Centre in bolstering the Indian Army’s operational strength by ensuring its personnel possess up-to-date knowledge, skills, and adaptability to face new security threats with assurance and professionalism.

The visit highlighted the Army’s ongoing focus on innovation, integration, and excellence in training, ensuring that its soldiers maintain a high level of operational readiness and contribute to national defence.
