Major Abhijit Singh and Captain Poonam Chaudhary Excel at MCEME's OACT–36 Graduation Ceremony
The Officers’ Advance Course in Computer Technology (OACT–36) concluded successfully at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. The closing ceremony marked the end of this specialized training program.
Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney, Commandant of MCEME and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, led the ceremony. He praised the officers for their dedication, technical competence, and professional excellence.
A total of 13 officers participated, including five from Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs). The Commandant highlighted the increasing significance of advanced computing, cyber security, and digital technologies in contemporary warfare.

The awards were announced at the event. Major Abhijit Singh received the Gold Medal and was recognized as the Overall Best Student, earning the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Book Prize. Captain Poonam Chaudhary was awarded the Silver Medal for securing the second position in order of merit.

The event also showcased innovative projects that concentrated on cyber security, automation, and new digital technologies. The projects included:
