Maj Gen Naruk Assesses Equipment Sustainment and Indigenisation at 506 Army Base Workshop
Major General P Naruk, leading the Base Workshop Group (BWG), recently conducted a comprehensive assessment of the 506 Army Base Workshop (ABW) to evaluate its operational and maintenance systems.
Throughout his visit, the General assessed various restoration tasks, quality control processes, and equipment maintenance strategies designed to maintain operational efficiency and provide prompt support to the Indian Army's field units.

Officials provided Maj Gen Naruk with insights into the vital function of 506 ABW in ensuring the operational readiness and serviceability of military hardware for frontline forces.
The evaluation also concentrated on enhancing strategic partnerships with industry players to tackle new challenges in equipment maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management. The discussions underscored the significance of innovation and domestic solutions in boosting long-term defense capabilities.
