Maj Gen Gaverdhan Singh Takes Command as Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor at OTA Gaya
Major General Gaverdhan Singh, SM has taken over as the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya, effective from 15 December. This marks a significant leadership change at one of the Indian Army’s foremost institutions for officer training.
With a wealth of operational and instructional expertise, Major General Singh is a seasoned and highly esteemed officer. In his new position, he will oversee training protocols and be instrumental in developing the professional, ethical, and leadership qualities of future Indian Army officers.
The appointment is anticipated to reinforce the academy's training ethos, maintaining a strong focus on discipline, character development, and operational preparedness. As Chief Instructor, Major General Singh will be crucial in guiding young gentlemen cadets as they prepare for leadership roles within the Army.
