Lt Vanshraj Seth Honored as Top Performer as EME School Completes Young Officer Course

On July 15, 2025, the Electronics and Mechanical Engineering School in Vadodara marked the successful completion of its recent Young Officer Course, tailored for the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME). A group of seventeen officers finished this rigorous program, which aims to equip new junior officers in the Indian Army’s engineering and maintenance branch with vital technical and leadership skills.

Major General Mohit Gandhi, Commandant of the EME School, addressed the closing ceremony, commending the officers for their dedication and professionalism. He emphasized the institution's significant contribution to developing a technically skilled group of military leaders, in line with the Indian Army's objectives of operational excellence and modernization.

Lieutenant Vanshraj Seth stood out among the graduating officers, earning the title of ‘Overall Best Student’ for his outstanding achievements in academics, technical training, and leadership.

Functioning under the Army Training Command (ARTRAC), the EME School is esteemed as a leading institution in India for technical military education. It plays an essential role in the Army's equipment readiness and in the training of officers to maintain and advance cutting-edge defense systems.
