Lt Gen Zubin A Minwalla Evaluates Academic Framework and Training at CDM–IDS

Lieutenant General Zubin A Minwalla, who serves as the Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff for Doctrine, Organisation, and Training, conducted a visit to the College of Defence Management–Integrated Defence Staff (CDM–IDS). The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the institution's academic structure and the training facilities it offers.

During his time at the college, Lt Gen Minwalla received a briefing on the execution of the flagship Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC). He was also informed about various new initiatives introduced by CDM–IDS aimed at enhancing professional military education for officers at mid-level and senior positions within the Armed Forces, including participants from allied foreign countries.

While engaging with both faculty members and course attendees, the General Officer expressed his appreciation for CDM–IDS's ongoing dedication to academic excellence and innovation in training techniques. He also acknowledged the institution's substantial intellectual contributions to defence management across the tri-services.

The visit highlighted the critical role of CDM–IDS in fostering strategic thinking, leadership, and joint operations capabilities among future military leaders.
