Lt Gen Zubin A Minwalla Emphasizes Technology and Integration in Address to MILIT Pune Student Officers
Lieutenant General Zubin A. Minwalla, serving as DCIDS (DOT), recently visited the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT) in Pune. During his visit, he addressed the Student Officers, focusing on the essential topics of integration and jointmanship within the Indian Armed Forces.

In his address, Lt Gen Minwalla highlighted the significant influence of emerging technologies on future warfare. He stressed the importance of continual capability development, effective incorporation of technology, and improved synergy among the three services to better prepare the armed forces for complex, multi-domain operational scenarios.

The General Officer also assessed ongoing training activities at MILIT and engaged with both faculty and student officers. During his visit, he was informed about several innovative projects, including those utilizing artificial intelligence, spearheaded by student officers on the homegrown ASTRA platform.

Praising MILIT’s dedication to innovation-driven education, Lt Gen Minwalla acknowledged the institution's commitment to excellence in training and technological transformation. He noted that such efforts are crucial for developing future military leaders who are capable of leveraging technology for operational efficiency and joint force integration.
