Lt Gen Virendra Vats Meets Nepal Army Chief to Strengthen India-Nepal Youth Ties
Lieutenant General Virendra Vats, YSM, SM, VSM, the Director General of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), along with a group of NCC cadets, visited the Chief of Army Staff of the Nepal Army as part of the ongoing India–Nepal Youth Exchange Programme. This meeting symbolized an important step in enhancing youth-driven relations between the two neighboring countries.

The discussions during the meeting underscored the deep-rooted cultural, military, and interpersonal ties that exist between India and Nepal. The visit was indicative of the firm tradition of defense collaboration and mutual esteem shared by the military forces of the two nations.

The conversation also stressed the importance of youth exchanges in promoting mutual understanding, friendship, and regional stability. NCC cadets were encouraged to serve as goodwill ambassadors, continuing the legacy of shared history and values between India and Nepal.
