Lt Gen Vandra Assesses Infrastructure and Welfare Projects at Naya Raipur Military Station
Lieutenant General Harbinder Singh Vandra, the General Officer Commanding of the Madhya Bharat Area, conducted a visit to the Naya Raipur Military Station (NRMS) to evaluate ongoing developments in infrastructure and welfare programs for defense personnel and veterans.
During his visit, the General Officer examined a range of infrastructure and welfare projects. This included reviewing the Military Engineering Services (MES) works and the facilities at the ECHS Polyclinic, both aimed at enhancing healthcare and support services for ex-servicemen and their families.
Separately, Lt Gen Vandra held discussions with the Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh focusing on initiatives for the welfare, rehabilitation, and resettlement of ex-servicemen. These talks also addressed measures to bolster support systems for active personnel and their families.
The discussions underscored the importance of collaboration between civil authorities and the military to ensure responsive governance and the effective implementation of welfare initiatives for the Armed Forces community.
These engagements demonstrated a mutual commitment to enhancing military-civil cooperation and improving long-term welfare support for veterans, active soldiers, and their dependents.
