Lt Gen V M Bhuvana Krishnan Assesses Security and Readiness in Manipur

Lieutenant General V M Bhuvana Krishnan, who heads the Eastern Command of the Indian Army, recently visited formations of the Army and Assam Rifles in Manipur to assess the current security landscape and the level of operational readiness in the area.

During his visit, the Army Commander received briefings on the operational dynamics at play, the deployment strategies in place, and the measures being implemented to uphold security and stability within the state.

Lt Gen Krishnan also took the opportunity to engage with the troops stationed in operational zones, commending them for their high level of readiness, professionalism, and steadfast dedication to their duties.

This visit underscored the Indian Army and Assam Rifles' ongoing commitment to maintaining operational preparedness, enhancing coordination, and ensuring continuous vigilance in the region.
