Lt Gen Sengupta Reviews Operational Preparedness and Welfare Initiatives at Chhattisgarh and Odisha Sub Area
Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, conducted a visit to the Chhattisgarh and Odisha Sub Area at Naya Raipur Military Station. The purpose of the visit was to assess the operational preparedness, review administrative initiatives, and evaluate welfare measures in place for serving personnel, veterans, and their families.
During his time at the station, the Army Commander received detailed briefings on the formation’s operational duties, current activities, and various initiatives designed to boost operational efficiency, inter-agency collaboration, and regional outreach efforts.

Lt Gen Sengupta evaluated the strategies implemented to sustain a high level of readiness and assessed the efforts directed at enhancing administrative support and welfare services for the Armed Forces community.
While engaging with officers, soldiers, and staff, he praised all ranks for their professionalism and steadfast dedication to duty. He acknowledged the formation’s role in maintaining operational effectiveness while prioritizing the well-being of serving personnel, veterans, and their families.

The Army Commander additionally commended the formation for upholding high standards of preparedness and motivated all personnel to continue their service with discipline, determination, and a focus on mission objectives.
