Lt Gen RC Tiwari Evaluates Security Measures Along Indo-Bangladesh Border in Tripura
Lieutenant General R C Tiwari, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, conducted a visit to the Border Outpost at Belonia, located in South Tripura, to assess the current security conditions along the Indo-Bangladesh border. He was accompanied by senior military officers during this inspection.

In the course of his visit, Lt Gen Tiwari received a briefing on the state of operational preparedness, the measures in place for border management, and the coordination efforts being undertaken to ensure effective surveillance and safety along the sensitive border. The review underscored the need for vigilance, the prevention of cross-border threats, and the importance of seamless coordination among the security forces stationed in the region.

During the visit, the Army Commander engaged with troops positioned at the border outpost, praising their professionalism, alertness, and dedication while working under challenging circumstances. He highlighted the necessity of maintaining sustained vigilance and taking proactive steps to ensure national security.
