Lt Gen RC Tiwari Evaluates Gajraj Corps Operations and Unveils New Transit Facility in Kameng Himalayas
On March 18, 2026, Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, the Army Commander of the Eastern Command, conducted a review of the ongoing operational initiatives within the Gajraj Corps.
Focus on Combat Capability Enhancement
During his visit, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Gajraj Corps provided a briefing to the Army Commander regarding the latest developments and strategies designed to bolster combat capabilities within the Corps' area of operations.

Infrastructure and Border Development
Lt Gen RC Tiwari inaugurated a newly constructed Transit Facility located in the Kameng Himalayas, which aims to improve logistical and operational support in forward regions.
Additionally, he praised the creation of the Border Brew Café in Zemithang, a venture operated by the local Monpa women's community. This initiative not only supports local livelihoods and cultural promotion but also aligns with the government's Vibrant Village Programme.
