Lt Gen RC Tiwari Assesses Operational Readiness and Innovation at Trishakti Corps' FabLab Facilities

Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, the Army Commander of Eastern Command, has conducted a visit to Trishakti Corps to assess the operational situation and readiness in the area.

During this visit, he received a briefing on the formation's operational setting, its preparedness, and the initiatives underway to enhance defense capabilities.

Lt Gen Tiwari also inspected the recently established Trishakti FabLab and Operational Simulation facilities. These are intended to foster innovation and technological integration within the unit.

The Trishakti FabLab is focused on advanced technologies such as drones, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence, and mechatronics. It includes the capability to produce drones internally, allowing soldiers to create indigenous technological solutions to operational issues.

The Army Commander praised the initiative, acknowledging the formation’s professionalism, innovation, and operational excellence.

He emphasized that these efforts are in line with the Indian Army’s objectives under the ‘Decade of Transformation’ and ‘Year of Tech Absorption’, which aim to incorporate advanced technologies and encourage self-reliant defense capabilities.

This visit underscores the Indian Army’s increasing emphasis on technology-driven warfare, innovation, and the development of indigenous capabilities to address evolving security threats.
