Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar Reunites with Alma Mater at National Defence Academy During Southern Command Visit

Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, who holds the AVSM and VSM honors, recently returned to the National Defence Academy (NDA) soon after taking over as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Southern Command. This visit marked an emotional homecoming to the academy where his military career was first shaped.

During his time at the NDA, Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar engaged with cadets from his former 'K' Squadron. He offered them motivation and shared experiences from his storied career in the military. He recognized the leadership roles of the Squadron Appointments, rewarding them and distributing sweets to the cadets, highlighting the strong connection between an alumnus and his educational roots.
