Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar Discusses Operation Sindoor and Leadership with IMA Cadets
Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, currently commanding the Kharga Corps, engaged with both the Directing Staff and Officer Cadets at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in a recent session.

In his address, the Army Commander discussed the successful elements of Operation Sindoor, while also shedding light on the present geopolitical landscape and the evolving nature of contemporary warfare.

Call for Tech-Driven Leadership
Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar urged the cadets to stay alert and technologically proficient, encouraging them to transform into “Techno Warriors”. He stressed the significance of achieving self-reliance, embracing new technologies, and being at the forefront of change, particularly in light of the current move toward theaterisation within the Armed Forces.

He emphasized the core strengths of the Indian Armed Forces, highlighting the crucial officer-men relationship. He noted that officers should lead by setting examples, exemplifying courage, character, competence, discipline, and physical fitness.
Lt Gen Pushkar also reminded the cadets to consistently observe the Chetwode Motto, underscoring the enduring values central to military leadership.
