Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar Assesses Combat Readiness in Kharga Corps Exercise Kharga Shakti

Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, who leads the Indian Army’s Kharga Corps, recently conducted an extensive assessment of the operational readiness of frontline units participating in Exercise Kharga Shakti. This evaluation aimed to examine combat readiness, operational efficiency, and the efficacy of contemporary training techniques employed by the corps’ formations.

During his visit, Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar engaged with troops and commanders, scrutinizing various elements of battlefield readiness, such as coordinated maneuvers, combat drills, and the incorporation of new technologies into military operations. Exercise Kharga Shakti is vital for validating operational strategies and enhancing coordination among the corps' diverse fighting units.

The general officer acknowledged the professionalism, dedication, and morale demonstrated by the officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), and soldiers involved in the exercise.
