Lt Gen Rajan Sharawat Evaluates Operational Preparedness, Commends Technological Advancements in Pathankot
Lt Gen Rajan Sharawat, AVSM, VSM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Rising Star Corps, conducted an extensive evaluation of the operational capabilities of formations and units in the Pathankot area. The review prominently featured the integration of advanced Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) technologies.
During his visit, the GOC praised the troops for their technological excellence and innovative approaches. He highlighted the initiatives underway as part of Swadeshikaran Se Shaktikaran, which focuses on bolstering self-reliance within defence capabilities.
The evaluation underscored the Corps' commitment to utilizing advanced technology to improve situational awareness, ensure rapid response, and maintain a high level of combat readiness in this strategically crucial sector.
