Lt Gen R.C. Tiwari Assesses Readiness at Kishanganj Camp, Praises Troops' Professionalism
Lt Gen R.C. Tiwari, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, carried out an in-depth assessment of the operational readiness of units based at the Kishanganj Military Camp during a recent visit. Accompanying him were senior officers, including the commanders of the Brahmastra Corps, 111 Area, and the Trinetra Division.
Throughout his visit, Lt Gen Tiwari received detailed briefings on current operational deployments, infrastructure projects, and the readiness status of frontline units in key sectors of the Eastern theatre. The evaluation also focused on the coordination among formations to ensure effective operational response and logistical support under various scenarios.

Engaging with the troops, the Army Commander praised their professionalism, dedication, and morale, highlighting that their steadfast commitment is crucial for protecting the nation's borders. He stressed the need for maintaining high combat readiness, embracing technological advancements, and engaging in continuous training to address evolving security threats.

Lt Gen Tiwari applauded the Brahmastra Corps and its associated formations for their high levels of discipline and operational performance. He also reiterated the Indian Army's focus on enhancing living conditions, welfare facilities, and infrastructure to boost combat efficiency and troop morale.
The visit reinforced the Eastern Command's commitment to maintaining a strong defensive stance and quick response capability in the region, aligning with the Army's overall strategy of preparedness, professionalism, and soldier welfare.
