Lt Gen Pushkar Unveils Enhanced Cardiac Screening Facility at Ambala Military Hospital

Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, who commands the Kharga Corps, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Cardiac Screening Centre at the Military Hospital in Ambala. This new facility is set to enhance specialized healthcare services for military personnel and their families.

The centre is furnished with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, including Echocardiography (ECHO), Treadmill Test (TMT), digital Doppler, automatic blood pressure monitoring, 24-hour Holter monitoring, cardiac marker analyser, BMI analyser, and spirometry systems.

During his visit, Lieutenant General Pushkar, accompanied by the Zonal President of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), also reviewed the newly upgraded Accident and Emergency Department of the hospital.

According to officials, the opening of the Cardiac Screening Centre along with the improvements made to the emergency department significantly strengthen the healthcare infrastructure at the Ambala military garrison.

This development underscores the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to modernizing medical facilities and delivering high-quality healthcare services to its personnel, veterans, and their families.
