Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, the Army Commander of the Northern Command, addressed attendees on the subject of “Op SINDOOR – Medical Implications” during the opening day of ARMEDiCON 2026 at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune. His visit to this distinguished medical training institution included a tour of advanced facilities, such as the Containerized Mobile Operation Theatre. This tour underscores the Armed Forces' commitment to enhancing deployable, mission-oriented medical infrastructure for operations in challenging environments.

During his address, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma praised the Armed Forces medical teams for their exceptional service during Operation SINDOOR. He recognized the professionalism, resilience, and preparedness displayed by the medical personnel under demanding operational conditions.
