Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Evaluates Security Readiness in Eastern Ladakh
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the Army Commander of Northern Command, conducted a visit to forward posts in Eastern Ladakh to evaluate the current security conditions and the operational readiness of troops stationed in the area.

Throughout his visit, the Army Commander received briefings about the operational dynamics at the ground level, including the force's posture and the measures implemented to maintain a heightened state of readiness along this sensitive frontier. The assessment concentrated on preparedness, surveillance, and sustaining troops who operate under high-altitude and challenging climatic conditions.

Lt Gen Sharma engaged with soldiers stationed at forward positions, expressing admiration for their steadfast dedication, resilience, and professionalism. He praised their capacity to sustain operational effectiveness despite the severe weather, difficult terrain, and rigorous operational demands.
