Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Evaluates Readiness for North Tech Symposium 2026
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, recently carried out a final inspection of the preparations for the North Tech Symposium 2026. The event is set to take place from May 4 to May 6.
In the course of the review, Lt Gen Sharma engaged with essential stakeholders and evaluated the readiness of different aspects related to the event. He focused on assessing logistical arrangements, technological displays, and coordination strategies to guarantee the successful execution of the symposium.
The North Tech Symposium 2026, a significant event in defence technology, will be inaugurated by the Raksha Mantri in Prayagraj. The theme for the symposium is “Raksha Triveni Sangam,” representing the union of innovation, collaboration, and operational capability.
The event is anticipated to gather senior military officials, defence specialists, industry participants, and technology innovators to discuss the latest trends in defence technology and their implications for modern warfare.
Lt Gen Sharma underlined the significance of flawless execution and pointed out the vital role such platforms play in promoting innovation and enhancing the Indian Army’s technological superiority amidst a changing security landscape.
